Travel Alberta is looking to double tourism spending in the province by 2035 from a pre-COVID-19 pandemic rate of roughly $10-billion per year. Part of that plan is to increase traffic outside traditional tourist hotspots like the Rocky Mountains and as Erik Bay tells us, the organization believes the Lethbridge-Medicine Hat region can play a key role in meeting its goals.
