Canada’s top doctor recommends kids be vaccinated ahead of flu season as medication shortage continues

Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam on Tuesday told a House of Commons health committee that while she could not speak on the ongoing shortage of children’s pain medication, she recommended parents get their children vaccinated for respiratory illnesses ahead of the upcoming flu season.
