‘Mr. Peanut’ runs for mayor in 1974 Vancouver election

In 1974, a group of Vancouver-based artists decided to run “Mr. Peanut” for mayor of the city. He didn’t win, but the campaign drew media attention from all of North America and is now the subject of a documentary called “Peanut For Mayor.” Squire Barnes reports.
