B.C. patients are leaving the country for surgery to help with endometriosis

Global News reached more than 20 patients with endometriosis across the country, 14 of whom have gone overseas for surgery, citing unbearable pain and failures of the Canadian health-care system. A B.C. woman who was treated in Romania tells Global News’ Kylie Stanton that the surgery saved her life and was worth the out-of-pocket expense of more than $12,500.
