A moose found just north of Port Hope Tuesday evening has been sedated and relocated north of Peterborough County.
OPP say they received a call for a moose near County Road 28 and Oughs Road.
On arrival, they found it on a nearby farm.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry tranquilized the animal and safely moved it.
A neighbour told Global News it looked to be a young female, no older than a year and a half.
