Ken Graham, the director of the U.S. National Weather Service, said Wednesday that even inland areas in Florida are in danger of flooding as hurricane Ian approaches. Graham said that the storm surge will push water into rivers and canals and as a result heavy rainfall in those areas will “have nowhere to drain.” He also warned residents against running generators indoors.
