Women’s rights advocates call on politicians to prioritize issue of violence against women

Following the recent triple homicide in Brossard involving a mother and her two children, many advocates say more attention is needed on the growing problem of violence against women and femicides. With the election campaign coming to an end, some say there has been hardly any talk of the fact that there have been eight possible femicides in the last eight weeks in Quebec. As Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports, they are calling on politicians to start addressing the issue.
