Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair said federal assistance for Nova Scotia has been approved and the Canadian Armed Forces will be deployed to help with debris removal and restoration of transportation links. CAF aerial assets will be deployed to help get a better understanding of the extent of the damage.
