100-year-old University of Alberta building to become model of smart energy use

Researchers at the University of Alberta are hoping to make the century-old University Commons building on campus a lot smarter. They’re looking at reducing energy use, emissions and operating costs all while increasing comfort for those who use it. Nicole Stillger reports.
