According to the City of Kelowna, the homeless population has tripled in the past year

It was originally expected to open this month—to replace the Doyle Avenue homeless shelter that was demolished earlier this summer. But now it looks like the opening of a new shelter in Kelowna may have to be delayed once again. The news comes as the homeless population explodes in the Central Okanagan. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
