The Manitoba Construction Sector Council (MCSC) Executive Director Carol Paul spoke on Wednesday about the province’s push to attract more women into the workforce. “Construction is no longer about the big, burly man. It’s about attention to detail and the person who has the smarts to get the job done right,” Paul said. Additionally, the MCSC hopes to develop more skilled trades people across the province to prevent a labour shortage.
