Manitoba’s Minister for Accessibility and the Status of Women Rochelle Squire announced on Thursday the province will partner with pharmacy supply chain Shoppers Drug Mart to support accessibility for menstrual products. Squires stated that the province aims to achieve equal access to menstrual products for Manitobans in the next five years. Many of these products are available for free but today’s plan will make availability uniform across the province.
