Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah said Thursday that the man believed to be responsible for the shooting rampage in Mississauga and Milton, Sean Petrie, had an extensive criminal history and had been placed on a national flagging system in 2007 for an offence in 2005 as a risk to reoffend.
