Peel Regional Police Det. Michael Mavity said Thursday Toronto Police officer Const. Andrew Hong may have been targeted for being in uniform after being shot dead in Mississauga on Monday. He also said it is believed Sean Petrie, the man believed responsible for Monday’s Toronto-area shooting rampage, attempted to disarm Hong.
