Cobourg area cancer patient talks diagnosis, fundraising for Myeloma Canada

Every year 2,900 Canadians will find out they have a blood cancer called myeloma.
Melissa Smith lives on a farm in Baltimore, Ont. just north of Cobourg.
She made that discovery four months ago in what doctors initially thought was lingering pain from a rib fracture.
Since then, she has risen from what she called her “breaking point.”
Smith joins Noor Ibrahim on Global News Morning Peterborough to share her journey.
