Every year 2,900 Canadians will find out they have a blood cancer called myeloma.
Melissa Smith lives on a farm in Baltimore, Ont. just north of Cobourg.

Since then, she has risen from what she called her “breaking point.”
Smith joins Noor Ibrahim on Global News Morning Peterborough to share her journey.
