U.S. President Joe Biden said Americans have a “duty” to protect democracy as he marked the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks at a ceremony at the Pentagon on Sunday. “It’s not enough to gather and remember each Sept. 11 those that we lost more than two decades ago, because on this day it’s not about the past – it’s about the future,” he said.
