Out of all of the countries in Queen Elizabeth’s realm outside the United Kingdom, her majesty visited Canada the most often — a total of 22 times during her reign. The Queen’s relationship with Canada stretched so long that she was still a princess in 1951 when she arrived for her first visit. Over the next seven decades as monarch, she saw every corner of the country — urban, rural and remote.
