Mark Arcand, the brother of Saskatchewan stabbing victim Bonnie Burns, reflected on his sister’s life and shared memories of her children and family at a press conference on Wednesday. Bonnie Burns and one of her sons were one of 11 people who died in the stabbing rampage last weekend on James Smith Cree Nation. Arcand recalled details of the attack, saying she fought to protect her children. The family has launched a GoFundMe page to support the children in healing from the trauma they suffered and asked people to support their efforts.
