British Prime Minister Liz Truss outlined her top priorities after taking over the role from Boris Johnson on Tuesday. Truss said she would cut taxes and “drive business-led growth and investment” as her first priority and would immediately “deal with energy bills” and secure the U.K’s future energy supply. Lastly, Truss said she would ensure people are able “to get doctors’ appointments and the NIH services they need.”
