The Conservative leadership race is set to come to a close on Saturday with a possible decision on the first ballot. Pierre Poilievre holds a strong lead among party voters deciding who will lead them into the next federal election. But while Poilievre may be a shoe-in for the leadership, the polling showed that Canadians have a different view of him leading the country, with Poilievre only holding 23 per cent of support, whereas his main rival Jean Charest holds 31 per cent.
