With most Quebec children back in school this week, the Quebec government is once again facing questions over air quality in classrooms. A petition is circulating online calling on the province to allow the installation of homemade air purifiers in schools, known as the Corsi-Rosenthal cube. The inexpensive air filtration system has recently taken the internet by storm, and some say it’s a good measure to help protect children from COVID-19 and other viruses. But as Global’s Felicia Parrillo reports, the education ministry calls it risky.
