The council of Atlantic premiers is asking for a short-term extension for their carbon pricing plan submissions. In a letter, signed by Nova Scotia premier Tim Houston, it says 40 per cent of Atlantic Canadians live in energy poverty. Adding a tax could put more pressure on them. Nathalie Sturgeon has more.
