The Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service responded to the 400-block of Furby Street early Wednesday morning to tackle a fire at a three-storey apartment building. Occupants of the building safely self-evacuated and no injuries were reported. The city’s Emergency Social Services were called to assist approximately 20 displaced occupants in finding temporary accommodations.
