Zaheer Janjua, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Canada, spoke Tuesday about the ongoing “unprecedented” floods hitting his country, saying they were facing a “very, very hard time” with more than 1,100 people killed and over 3,500 people injured. He also said the United Nations had launched its flood response plan, which would raise $160.3 million for the country.
