Quebec family wants treatment covered for 11 year-old with vision loss

Members of a Laval family are desperate and discouraged over their child’s declining vision. The 11 year-old suffers from a rare disease that causes progressive vision loss. They’re calling on the Quebec government to publicly fund a new sight-restoring treatment that’s now approved in Canada, before it’s too late. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
