Winnipeg mayoral candidate Kevin Klein’s plans for the city involve the turn around time for police at hospitals. Klein outlined the idea on Friday in proposal to deputize security personnel at hospitals that would take control of suspects who are admitted to hospital by police. Klein says this strategy will help officers return to the policing the community quicker.
