United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said Thursday, during a joint media availability alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that damage to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant would be “suicide” and called for demilitarization of the site. Zelenskyy echoed his comments, calling for Russia to withdraw its troops and “without a doubt, stop the shelling.”
