Republican Rep. Liz Cheney lost her Wyoming primary on Tuesday night, becoming the latest GOP member of Congress who voted to impeach former president Donald Trump over the Jan. 6 Capitol riot to lose their bid at re-election in a rebuke by supporters of Trump. Meanwhile, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who voted to convict Trump at his impeachment trial, will face off against a Trump-backed Republican in November, in part due to the state’s all-party primary system.
