A bird to represent the people: votes adding up for Peterborough’s official bird

Across Canada, policy-makers, community groups and residents are teaming up with Nature Canada to create officially recognized “bird friendly cities.”
The City of Peterborough is working on becoming a part of that team, and now the search is now on for an official city bird.
