United Arab Emirates calls for ‘intensifying efforts’ to reach ceasefire in Yemen

Speaking at the United Nations Security Council meeting on Monday, the United Arab Emirates representative called for “intensifying efforts” to reach a comprehensive ceasefire in Yemen, as well as creating conditions to start political consultations between the Yemeni parties based on a set time frame, as the nation’s humanitarian crisis worsens.
