The French are dealing with a mustard shortage, and Canada is playing a key role. With 80 per cent of mustard seeds coming from Canada, supermarket shelves in France have been empty when it comes to the Dijon mustard aisle — and the shortage is thanks to a heat wave last year in the North American country.
