Satellite images show damage at Russian airbase in Crimea, Ukraine denies responsibility

Satellite images released this week showed what appeared to be damaged buildings and aircraft at a Russian airbase in Novofedorivka, Crimea, with the annexed region’s governor saying at least one person had died as a result of a series of explosions that occurred. Russian officials have said the explosions were the detonations of stored ammunition, not the result of an attack, while Ukraine has also denied any responsibility.
