Dawn Walker’s sister, Patricia Dorion, spoke at a rally Tuesday evening to raise awareness of the inequality facing indigenous women in the justice system. Walker is currently in custody in Oregon. Her family is hoping for her extradition to Canada. Saskatoon police have said previous allegations made by Walker were investigated but did not result in charges.
