Montrealers who had their Guaranteed Income Supplement suddenly cut try to get answers from the federal government

Some Montreal pensioners have seen their Guaranteed Income Supplement cheque cut off with short notice. The problem is due to COVID-related changes in claim forms, leaving seniors struggling to make ends meet as their fixed incomes take a big hit. As Global’s Phil Carpenter explains, a government help line is turning out to be no help at all.
