Toronto Pearson airport implements eGates for customs, plans for fully-digital border in future

Deborah Flint, president and CEO of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) said on Friday that Pearson airport has implemented eGates for customs declaration along with online forms travellers can fill up to 72 hours before departure in order to reduce wait times on arrival. She added travellers can now see live security wait times online and in the future they’ll be able to virtually queue in security lines before they show up at the airport.
