Nurse calls on feds to create violence prevention framework for health-care workers

Ontario Nurses’ Association President Cathryn Hoy called on the Canadian federal government on Thursday to implement a violence prevention framework nationwide for health-care workers. She told a press conference that the average person is unaware of the violence and abuse health-care workers face.
