A new evacuation order is in effect for the Apex Mountain Village due to the aggressive Keremeos Creek wildfire southwest of Penticton, B.C. The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen says 248 properties are now under that evacuation order. The fire now covers 437 hectares, tripling in size over the weekend.
