‘We’re not stopping here’: Mohawk human rights leader Kenneth Deer discusses Pope’s apology, Doctrine of Discovery

As Pope Francis apologizes for the abuse Indigenous peoples suffered at Canada’s residential schools, Mohawk journalist and human rights leader Kenneth Deer believes saying sorry is not enough and there’s more work to be done.
