Indigenous response to papal apology as individual as the community itself

It’s unsuitable to presume any one of our local First Nations communities, or any one particular person, can speak on behalf of everyone on the value of this week’s papal visit
However, the subject needs to be discussed, especially considering the presence of so many Indigenous communities in the Peterborough region.
Teresa Kaszuba approached this important topic with the Director of the First Peoples House of Learning at Trent University, Dawn Lavell-Harvard.
