After the Vancouver Fire Chief issued a special order to get tents cleared off East Hastings, the department held a press conference Tuesday to explain its reasoning. But Downtown Eastside advocates are making sure their side is heard as well, and as Emad Agahi reports, they say removing the tents won’t solve the problem.
