Footage of former U.S. president Donald Trump making multiple revisions to a speech, such as taking out the word “election”, one day after the Capitol riot was shown during the Jan 6. hearing on Thursday. Acknowledging the right to contest elections within the court, former Deputy National Security Advisor Matthew Pottinger said that once such claims surpass due process, “you are challenging the Constitution itself. You are challenging the societal norms that let us remain unified.”
