Jan 6. hearing: Trump ‘chose not to act’ in 187 minutes after speech, panel says

The Jan. 6 investigating committee reconvened on Thursday night, focusing on the window of 187 minutes from when then-U.S. president Donald Trump ended his speech to when he told the mob to go home. “President Trump did not fail to act,” Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said. “He chose not to act.”
