You may never have heard of it but the Vancouver Island tennis club is one of a kind. For the past century they’ve been grooming the grass courts at the South Cowichan Club. Those grass courts have earned it the nickname Wimbledon West. As Jay Durant tells us on This Is BC, it’s never missed a season since opening in 1887.
