After a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Indy car racing returned to Toronto. Ontario’s capital is home to the only Canadian race on the schedule. Ahmar Khan reports. A man and woman were taken to hospital following a shooting inside a downtown nightclub. At around 3:30 a.m., Toronto police and paramedics responded to a call about two shooting victims. One was in life-threatening condition and the other had serious injuries. Both were taken to the hospital and are being treated for their injuries.
