Ottawa to apologize for racism against all-Black unit in WWI

Descendants of a First World War Nova Scotia army unit that fought racist policies for the right to serve will soon be part of an historic moment. The federal government will deliver a national apology to the descendants of the number two construction battalion on Saturday in Truro, where the unit was first formed.
