The Oliver Jones Award recognizes young university-level musicians from visible minority or Indigenous communities. This year’s recipient is Christina Beaudry-Cárdenas, a recent Concordia University graduate and drummer. She joins Global’s Eramelinda Boquer to tell us about her inspirations and upcoming performance at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
