Ahead of a closed-door discussion on the issue of housing in Toronto on Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Toronto Mayor John Tory expressed mutual appreciation for federal and local partnerships on challenges ranging from the pandemic, infrastructure to housing. “It matters to all of Canada that Toronto be successful,” Trudeau said.
