Coworker stands in for graduate’s family at ceremony

Walking across the stage at commencement without any family in the audience is what Kulvir Kaur thought would happen. She immigrated to Canada in 2017 but her family is in India and they couldn’t make it here for her graduation. That’s when her coworker stepped in. Catherine Urquhart explains
