Finland and Sweden will sign the NATO accession protocol on Tuesday, July 5 to formally join the alliance, Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said as the NATO Summit wrapped up in Madrid. The comments come two days after Turkey lifted its veto over the Nordic countries’ bid to join NATO.
