Quebec Public Health Director advises boosters and public masking for at-risk Quebecers as new variants push up COVID infections

As COVID cases rise in Quebec, Public Health Director Luc Boileau recommends at-risk Quebecers wear masks in public and get booster shots but says no new public health measures are necessary.
Dr Boileau is concerned about large numbers of healthcare workers absent due to COVID. Global’s Dan Spector reports, some doctors feel the time is right to bring back masks in indoor public spaces.
